A seasoned journalist, columnist and media consultant; Festus has about 20 years of experience, which cuts across journalism, research and public communication. He is known in the Nigerian public arena as a public commentator with an acerbic pen and a writer with disdain for injustice and social disorder. He graduated from University of Lagos with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy; Master’s degree in Political Science from University of Ibadan; and PhD in Political Communication, University of Ibadan. He has served in various capacities including Deputy Editor and Editorial Page Editor, Nigerian Tribune; Special Adviser on Media to Enugu State Governor (2003); Chairman, Editorial Board of the defunct National Life newspaper; and Special Adviser on Media to Oyo State Governor (2011-2015).
